Sarah Lenes G'10

Sarah Lenes is the Assistant Vice President for Alumni Relations at the University of Vermont Foundation, where she leads the staff and program efforts of the UVM Alumni Association. In this role, she oversees a dedicated team of professionals and together they manage an alumni network of 134,000, fostering meaningful, lifelong connections between alumni and the University of Vermont.

With more than 20 years of experience in higher education, Sarah brings deep expertise in volunteer management, communications, program development, alumni engagement, and mentorship of professionals. She is a firm believer that strong relationships are at the heart of all successes, and this philosophy guides every aspect of her work at UVM and beyond. Sarah is highly regarded by executives and students alike and has contributed to the professional and personal growth of countless students and professionals. Sarah understands that meaningful, authentic connections with alumni not only strengthen engagement but also inspire a deeper sense of loyalty and generosity, ultimately laying the foundation for lifelong philanthropic support.

Sarah earned a Bachelor of Science from Wheaton College (Norton, Mass.) in 2005 and a Master's in Education from the University of Vermont in 2010. She lives in South Burlington, Vt.
