Frequently Asked Questions
UVM Senior Week, now in its 45th year, is a celebration for the graduating class that runs all week between finals and your Commencement ceremony.
Senior Week is all about reflecting on your accomplishments and welcoming you into the UVM Alumni community. Each year, the Student Alumni Association connects with members of the senior class to plan out how the week should look. Everyone who registers will receive Senior Week goodies and admission to all Senior Week 2026 events.
This year, Senior Week will take place from Monday, May 11 to Wednesday, May 13. There are events planned throughout the entire week!
For the full Senior Week 2026 schedule, visit UVM Student Alumni Association's website alumni.uvm.edu/seniorweek.
Yes, unfortunately Senior Week does sell out due to limited capacities for our activities. This includes specific cruise times. If there is no availability for your preferred time, it is sold out and you must select a different time. Any request for cruise time switches must be sent to student.alumni.association@uvm.edu. We do not allow students to swap cruise times amongst each other due to liability concerns-- we need to know who is on each boat.
For the Senior Brunch on Friday, May 15, we want to let you know there is a space capacity in Redstone of 350 people. We hope people will eat, play a little, and then leave to provide space for all seniors to be able to participate.
Any graduate can still join us for a number of Senior Week events without a ticket. This includes many of the activities in the Davis Center on Monday, May 11, and the Wednesday, May 13, event, "Get the Scoop!" at the UVM Alumni House with their parents and families, as well as all activities sponsored by Student Life. You must be a graduating senior and purchase a Senior Week 2026 Package to participate. Your senior week wristband will be physically placed on your wrist at the Senior Send-Off on Monday, May 11. Wristbands are to be worn all week to participate in the Senior Week events. You must also bring your CATcard and state ID or driver's license to all activities.
The Senior Week 2026 package is $40 per person and includes admission to all Senior Week 2026 events. Goodies will be at the Senior Send-Off and are first-come, first-served. Senior Week packages are non-refundable or transferable.
All seniors will receive an save the date for Senior Week registration mid-March. Emails will go to the email we have on file in for graduating seniors per the commencement-planning team. This is the same email address which will receive the link to register. In some cases this could mean your non-UVM email. Please make sure to check your spam folders. If you didn't receive an email, please contact us at student.alumni.association@uvm.edu.
No, you can buy one package per person. If you cannot register and need assistance, please email student.alumni.association@uvm.edu.
Email student.alumni.association@uvm.edu with your concern. We will have staff members monitoring this account throughout the coming days to assist with any issues that arise. Due to high volume, response time might be longer than usual.
You will receive a confirmation email if you have successfully registered for Senior Week. If you did not receive a confirmation email after you registered, this means your registration did not go through. Try again and if you have trouble, reach out to student.alumni.association@uvm.edu.
Those who emailed the Student Alumni Association inbox and requested to be on the wait list will have first access to the additional Senior Week packages. They will receive an email on Wednesday, April 22 at 9:00am. All other seniors who were on the original mailing list who are not already registered for Senior Week will receive an email on Wednesday, April 22 at 10:00am. If you were not on the original email, double check with your advisor and registrar to ensure you are on the list for Commencement, as the list was given to us directly from the Commencement-planning team.
Your registration link is unique to you and cannot be forwarded to others. This may cause the forwarder's registration to be erased.
Student Life is proud to offer additional programming on Tuesday, May 12 for all students, including those without packages, with The Senior Showdown, happening from 12:00 to 3:00pm in the Davis Center. See the full Senior Week schedule for more information.

With your Senior Week Package purchase, you will receive a Bingo Board (4x4) full of activities to complete throughout the week - like attending Senior Week events! Complete four squares in a row (in any direction) and win an Alumni Sweatshirt.
Boards must be shown to UVM Foundation staff at the Wednesday event (Get the Scoop!), where we will hand out the sweatshirts. We will have a Bingo Board helper page available during Senior Week with more details.
