After graduating undergrad in 2017, I spent the next year at UVM getting my Masters in Accounting. Upon graduating the MAcc program in 2018, I moved to Boston, MA where I began my career in Accounting at RSM.

I received my degree in Public Communication with a concentration in Strategic Communication. After graduating from UVM, I attended Merrimack College and received my master's degrees in Management and Communication. In my current position, I assist students with the application process and help them choose the right graduate program for them. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, going to Bruins games, and hanging out with friends. I am so excited to meet up with fellow Catamounts in the Boston area!

After graduating in 2019 with a degree in Public Communication and Political Science, I found my way from Burlington to Boston where I have been ever since working in Higher Education. In addition to my work in Undergraduate Admissions, I am actively pursuing a Master of Business Administration at Northeastern University to round out the academic foundation set by my time at UVM. In my free time, I love traveling and exploring new places, especially with my partner (who is a Catamount as well!).

I graduated from UVM in 2017 with a degree in Global Studies and Spanish. After graduation, I spent a few years working in law firms in Burlington (and taking a little time off to backpack around South America) before deciding to further pursue a legal career. I moved to Boston in 2020 to begin my legal coursework and am currently enrolled at Northeastern University�s School of Law.

I am an Equipment Integration Engineer at Tokyo Electron Limited, focused on conducting hazard analyses for advanced semiconductor research projects and keeping everyone safe. In my free time, I'm an avid runner, explorer, photographer, and crafter!

I graduated in 2020 with a BS in Psychology and I absolutely loved my time at UVM. I moved to Boston shortly after graduation and have really enjoyed exploring the city! I saw this opportunity to join NextGen Council through instagram and I couldn't wait to get involved because I love helping people! I'm excited to stay involved with UVM and support the next generations of alumni.

I was a member of the women's soccer team during my four years at UVM and graduated with a degree in Business Administration. After graduating in 2018, I moved to Boston and joined the investment team at an alternative investments advisory firm, Clear Brook Advisors, which was founded by a UVM alum. We provide advice to high net-worth individuals, family offices, and endowments regarding alternative investments including private equity, venture capital, real estate, and hedge funds.

Since graduating I've been living in Manhattan and working in Customer Experience/Success in the tech industry. I have done a lot of exploring, including living in China for several months for work, driving cross country for 3 months, and of course visiting all of my UVM friends.

Since graduation, I have begun my career working at Morgan Stanley as a Fixed Income Trading Ops Analyst. Although virtual it has been very rewarding to begin a new job and use many of the skills I learned at UVM on a daily basis, even though my area of study is not directly related to my area of work.

Since graduation Jake has been living in New York City and spent the first three years of his career working at UBS. Most recently he was an Investment Banking Analyst on the TMT team evaluating a range of M&A transactions. Jake is currently an M&A and Strategy professional at Acquco, an institutionally backed acquisition company focused on Amazon sellers. During his time on campus at UVM, Jake was involved in the Student Government Association and served as Chair of the Finance Committee during his senior year. Outside of work, Jake enjoys road biking, skiing, and traveling.

Since graduation, I have been living and working in New York City, having started my career in Banking Compliance and having now transitioned to a more enjoyed career path in Real Estate Development, specifically with regards to Affordable Housing. Otherwise, trying to travel and spend as much time with friends and family as possible.

For the last four years, Kevin has been working at Merrill Lynch as a Financial Advisor helping clients achieve their financial and investing goals. Kevin holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst certification, administered by the Investments & Wealth Institute and taught in conjunction with Yale University's School of Management. While at UVM, Kevin was a Peer Mentor within the Environmental Studies Department and was an active member of the Ski and Snowboard Club. Kevin lives in Brooklyn and completed the 2022 NYC Marathon.

Since graduating, I've been living and working in Manhattan. Additionally, I've completed my MS in Finance concentrated on account management, risk, and cryptocurrency. My area of specialty is account management, and I'm currently employed at a fintech cryptocurrency company. When I'm not at work, I'm usually in VT skiing, visiting my family on the Cape, or exploring a new bar here in the city.

After graduating UVM, I moved to San Jose, CA where I taught as a Special Educator for two years to complete a Teach for America commitment. Post TFA, I worked as a household manager and nanny for a family in San Francisco, and through time additionally became an executive assistant to interior designer, Tiffany Waugh. Currently, I work as an EA at a private equity firm, IGP. From across the country, I've appreciated connecting with alumni near and far as I've navigated my post-grad career path. I feel fortunate to be a member of the NextGen Council in San Francisco to stay connected to the UVM community coming from a family of Catamounts.

After graduating, I worked as the Communications Intern in the Office of International Education at UVM for a year. I then began working at Redstone, a property management company in Burlington, as an Administrative Coordinator in the summer of 2020. After two years at Redstone, I returned to UVM and now work as a coordinator for short-term study abroad programs. I live in Colchester, VT with my two roommates and my cat!

After graduating from CESS in 2021, I continued with my MPH at UVM, which I completed in Spring 2022. I now have the opportunity to work remotely for the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services in the Center for Clinical Standards and Quality. I am on a team that creates rules and regulations by identifying and developing best practices for improving non-institutional quality standards. These health and safety standards help to improve the quality of care and protect the health and safety of CMS beneficiaries. They also involve the requirements of participation for providers and plans in the Medicare, Medicaid, and other participating programs.

After graduating from UVM CEMS in 2017, I ventured into the energy industry starting my career in energy efficiency and ultimately landing in the renewable energy industry. At REsurety, I'm a senior member of our analytics team. I truly enjoy my job and am passionate about the transition to clean energy. During the pandemic I was able to convert my Boston based role into a fully remote role to move back to Burlington, the one place that truly feels like home!

Alex Farrell was appointed Deputy Commissioner of Housing and Community Development by Governor Phil Scott in June 2021. Prior to this role, Alex worked for Union Mutual of Vermont where he worked as a Business Intelligence Analyst before becoming the company's Corporate Projects Coordinator. Alex serves as Chair of the Board for the Vermont State Housing Authority and previously served as Chair of Vermont's Real Estate Commission. On the local level, Alex served on multiple Burlington boards and commissions. Alex graduated from the UVM Grossman School of Business in 2015 and is currently enrolled in an MBA program at Clarkson University. Alex grew up in Shelburne and currently resides in South Burlington.

After graduating early from the Grossman School of Business, I am working part-time with UVM Athletics while continuing my job search. I am looking to explore consulting and marketing roles throughout the New England area. I stay involved in my community, actively volunteering across Chittenden County and staying informed on local startups. Alongside the NextGen Council, I am beginning my role as a "changemaker Ignitor" for the FeelGood chapter at the Milwaukee School of Engineering. In my free time, I enjoy helping friends market their startups, reading, practicing my Spanish speaking, and trying new restaurants!

In spring 2023, I moved back to Vermont because I missed the Green Mountains and now work at Twincraft Skincare as an Account Manager. In my free time I love to swim, ski, hike, take yoga classes and explore new places.

Keeping UVM close, I still live in Burlington and am a member of the Sigma Phi Society Alpha of Vermont Alumni Corporation and UVM's Greek Alumni Advisory Council. In my free time you can find me on the lake or the mountains depending on the season, or in the studio practicing yoga!

I graduated from the Grossman School of Business in 2019 and ended up joining NewRez LLC, a subsidiary of Rithm Capital. I have held multiple roles within the company and am currently a Learning Consultant with the Talent Management Team. I also enjoy volunteering with the UVM Admissions Office as an Alumni representative and am thrilled to be on the Vermont NextGen Council. I currently live in Colchester with my rescue dog Annie, and we enjoy walks, bike rides, and hosting friends and family.

I spent a year teaching English in Quito, Ecuador, and then got my Master's Degree in Spanish Interpreting and Translation in 2016 from Wake Forest University. I lived in Winston Salem, NC for a few years where I worked as front of house manager for a local restaurant and worked as a freelance interpreter. I'm now working at a local nonprofit called Liberty's Promise that supports immigrant youth in the area!

After graduating UVM, I continued my pursuit of education earning a Master of Public Health degree in Occupational Environmental Epidemiology from University of Michigan in April 2018. I committed to a career in public service first working at CDC as a Disaster Epidemiology Fellow. In my current position as a Planning Support Unit Leader on FEMA's Incident Management Assistant Team, I coordinate federal response and recovery efforts to improve the quality of life of disaster-affected communities.

My passion for democracy and progressive change started in the political science department at UVM. I have worked as a field manager and canvasser for multiple political campaigns and interned as an investigator at the Chittenden County Public Defender's Office. After graduating, I relocated to DC to pursue a career in progressive politics and currently work as a server in Columbia Heights.

I credit my semester abroad and summer internship at the Vermont Council on World Affairs for igniting my passions in social justice and international diplomacy. After graduation I moved to Washington, DC supporting U.S. Department of State exchange programs, then worked as a Development Officer in Morocco before returning to DC to work in project management under the USAID Global Health Supply Chain Project.

As a double major in Anthropology and Psychology, I began working with children and families postgrad which led to a career in social work. I worked in residential counseling and family services in Vermont before earning my MSW from Columbia University. I am now licensed in DC and Maryland and serve as a Guidance Consultant for ComPsych Corporation, providing mental health, legal, and financial support services worldwide.
