Charles Norman Perkins II sent greetings while on the road in California, saying that he and Jann PP'89 continue to travel extensively, so much so that they have been called Road Warriors. Their winter message arrived while they traveled to the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas and then up the California coast to Seattle. From there they were planning to fly to Juneau, Alaska, to celebrate Christmas with son Chuck III (Charles Perkins III, ’86). They were looking forward to many stops to see and visit with family and friends. Their family includes many UVM alumni: in addition to Chuck III is daughter Peggy Perkins Rieley ’89; granddaughter Bella Rieley ’24; Chuck's father, Dr. Charles N. Perkins, and his sister, Estaleen Perkins Fenn ’39. Charles and Jann are looking forward to celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary this coming August 18th. Chuck adds, "I am now 93 years old and my bride is only 88. We have had great lives together, and we continue to attend many of the athletic and social activities at the University of Vermont. I continue to be involved with Theta Chi Fraternity, of which I was a member during my college years. Jann and I will keep traveling and having fun as long as we are able to do so. The University of Vermont is still a great part of our present and a great part of my past." See the Perkins’ photos here.

Class Secretary Jane Battles sends greetings from her winter residence in the Florida Keys, where she reports meeting a lovely family whose twin daughters were both interested in UVM! She hears regularly from the Tri-Delt sorority group that she helped start some 20 years ago, with alumnae from across the US — and she loves that their Kappa and Theta counterparts are hosting reunions, too. She says it's like being back on fraternity row or a freshman in college! Babette Cameron is still in Stonington in Deer Isle, Maine, enjoying tennis, bridge and her volunteer job. She’s hoping classmates will come visit to catch up. She’s missing her dear roommate, Joanie Wislocki McKenzie, who passed away last summer and was an amazing oil painter, well-known in the art world. Frank Maccini and family gathered in Stowe for the July 2025 wedding of granddaughter Shelly Just ’14. See the wonderful group picture with Frank, along with Carol Maccini Saul '80, Elisabeth Maccini Millard '79, Merry Johnson Maccini '78, David Maccini '78, MD '82, Shelly Just Steinle '14, and parents of the bride, Lisa Maccini Just ’84 and Robert Just '82 here .
