Reviews nominations and selects recipients for UVM Alumni Awards.
Purpose
This committee identifies awardees for our annual Alumni and Faculty Awards. Shining a light on these outstanding individuals strengthens the reputation of the University of Vermont. See below for specific examples of our initiatives.
Recognize annual Alumni Award winners through the Celebrating Excellence program.
Recognize annual George V. Kidder outstanding faculty award recipient.
Publicize awards through the alumni website and social media.
Solicit nominations for next year.
Awards Committee Commitments
Complete your UVM Connect profile to indicate your willingness to help students.
Nominate an alum for one or more awards.
Post on UVM Connect about the nomination process.
Send handwritten congratulatory notes to the award winners.
Share alumni awards program on social media to encourage others to view the awards program.
Encourage winners to participate in awards pool.
