On March 29th, 2025, hundreds of UVM students, faculty, and community members gathered for RALLYTHON — UVM's Miracle Network Dance Marathon. By the end of the evening, they had raised $101,184.33 for UVM Children's Hospital.
But the bigger story was the milestone revealed at midnight: RALLYTHON has now raised a cumulative total of over $1 million for UVM Children's Hospital in its decade on campus. What started as a small student initiative 10 years ago has grown into one of UVM's most beloved traditions.
RALLYTHON is part of a national movement of over 300 colleges and universities who raise money for their local Children's Miracle Network Hospital. Funds raised support special programs, life-saving equipment, education, research, and the Child Life Program at UVM Children's Hospital.
The event is planned and executed by a committee of 20 students from across campus — a testament to the power of student-led philanthropy at UVM.
