Eric Burt '80

Eric is a Managing Director with RBC Wealth Management in Wellesley, Massachusetts. He and his team have been helping individuals, companies, and private foundations with wealth management strategies for over 4 decades.

Eric’s work as a UVM volunteer started in Boston in the 80’s. Winning an UVM alumni golf event turned into a long board position on the Boston Regional Board, where he finished his service as President. This was followed by time on the Alumni Council. In time, an invitation to join the Foundation Leadership Council lead to his current role on the Foundation Board.

In addition to UVM volunteer work, Eric has also served on WGBH’s Executive Council, the Middlesex School Alumni Board, the Dover-Sherborn Education fund, and various positions helping Pilgrim Church in Sherborn, Massachusetts.

Eric and his wife live in Dover, Massachusetts and New London, New Hampshire. He has 3 grown children, the youngest is currently a UVM class of ’27 student.
