Robert Millstone

Foundation Board

Director

Bob Millstone has been fortunate to have had the opportunity to work as an attorney in the private sector, United States Department of Justice, and the construction, real estate and private equity sector. Bob and his wife, Colleen, believe extending opportunities for others is important. Investing in people's access to excellent education is one of the most effective ways to achieve this goal.

Bob has been engaged at the leadership level with numerous nonprofit organizations, including the Hillel Board at the University of Vermont, the Board of Governors for Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, and two national councils at Washington University in St. Louis. He currently serves as a board member of the Regional Business Council in St. Louis as well as the Lubin Green and Staenberg Foundations, supporting foundations of the Jewish Federation of St. Louis, MO.

Bob and his wife, Colleen, have established connections to Vermont. In addition to residing in St. Louis, they also live in Ferrisburgh, Vermont, where Colleen grew up. Bob was raised in Waitsfield, Vermont. Inspired by a walk Colleen and Bob had around Kingsland Bay State Park, Bob helped establish the Vermont Parks Forever Foundation, where he was a founding board member.

Bob has been recognized for his business and community involvement, which includes the Distinguished Young Alumni Award from Washington University Law School. Colleen graduated from the University of Vermont in 1985 with a major in French. Bob holds an AB in economics and international development, a JD in law, and an Executive MBA, all from Washington University.
